John Saviano

John Saviano

Miami Beach, FL
A life-long tech guy, John’s always been involved with the various markets we focus on today. From high school work in film and video, playing in the concert, marching, and jazz band, college studies in physics and engineering (NC State & UNCC), being FOH for a series of glam rock, punk, and metal bands (no pictures of any of that allowed!), various recording studio work, the prerequisite retail pro audio sales (at Reliable Music in Charlotte), all which led to being a manufacturer’s representative, first with an Atlanta based company, then later starting Quest.John is based in Miami Beach, and travels extensively through our entire region, plus attends an assortment of trade shows all over. He’s an enthusiastic pilot, flying frequently just for fun. And he follows F1 racing extensively.

Terry Ewald

Terry Ewald

Raleigh, NC
While we’re all veterans of the music business, Terry’s an actual Veteran. Spent six years in the US Navy, three on a submarine. After his service, he handled electronic repairs for a music store, then became a representative with another company. Some changes in lines brought him to Quest.
Jerry Sehi

Jerry Sehi

Fort Lauderdale, FL
Jerry is a guitarist and has played in bands for quite a while. He’s been on the equipment side of the music business for many years and has worked for a number of well-known companies, such as IMC, Jackson, and AKAI. He then decided to start his own company. Some of his key lines were shared by Quest, so it made sense to merge the organizations. Jerry joined us in 2008.A very interesting fact about Jerry is that he has sailed around the entire globe in a 44’ sailboat. Still a boater living in Fort Lauderdale (the yachting capital of the US), he covers S FL and Puerto Rico.

Jimmy Saviano

Jimmy Saviano

Atlanta, GA
Always a guitarist, with a succession of bands, one “almost-famous,” Jimmy worked in the same retail store as John (yes, they’re brothers). A fine songwriter, Jimmy’s band, The Vandals, was on the first nationally broadcast Star Search (for good or bad, Star Search led to all the reality-performer shows on today). Various “hit records” later, Jimmy opened his own successful music store. When partner troubles struck, he joined the MARS Music organization. After growing tired of that, he left the musical equipment business for a while, until John coaxed him back. Always playing, with a fully-stocked rehearsal studio, he’s ready to jam. Jimmy lives in Atlanta and is Quest’s MI Product Specialist and overall Sales Support.

Carolyn Ashe

Carolyn Ashe

Miami Beach, FL
Carolyn runs the financial side. Accounts payable and receivable, payroll, commissions – all the money stuff. While not originally part of the music business, a BA in sociology gave her the foundation for dealing with all the, uh, shall we say, personalities, in our business. After success in social work, then transitioning into the cosmetics business for some time, she was talked into joining Quest. And if you haven’t figured it out yet, she’s married to John!
Eddy Dorr

Eddy Dorr

Miami, Fl
Eddy’s on his second tour with Quest. With Quest since the merger with Crescendo, he moved to the frigid north for a while, then came to his senses and headed south again. He’s a guitarist and bassist and has played all over. He worked with many of S FL’s regional sound companies as a stage tech, one of which took him on a world tour with the Miami Sound Machine. He did his time in retail, both a small store and a chain.Lives in Pompano Beach. Quite simply, Eddy’s the answer man. Whatever you need, he can find it.
